Description
Flavours towered before us like a stacked megalith of marmalade and macerated strawberries supported by a polished wooden frame. A boozy and heady rum soaked trifle came layered with custard and cream and a serving of tangerines soaked in brandy. Sweet Havana pipe tobacco fused with spicy perfume and linseed oil for a dangerously delicious concoction. Ginger tingled on the palate with a playful warmth that aligned with navy rum and nutmeg whilst retaining a sweet and juicy presence. Marzipan and fruit punch contributed to an endless deluge of flavour that mellowed into cherry cola on the finish with a perfectly balanced measure of clean oak spices.
